Cheer on Team USA as they fence for gold in Santiago — with bouts streamed live and for free on your phone, TV or computer!

Ready to be the ultimate fan for Team USA's fencers at the Pan Am Games? Dive into our viewing guide, and let's make them hear you all the way down in Chile! The fencing competition runs from Oct. 30 to Nov. 4.

The best part is, you can watch all that fencing action live and for free on your phone, TV or computer!

How can I watch on my phone?

  1. Grab your trusty iPhone or Android.
  2. Click here from your smartphone, and download the free Panam Sports Channel app.
  3. Create a free account, providing your name, email address, country, birth year and favorite Pan Am Games sport — fencing, of course.
  4. Once you're in, you can "subscribe" to fencing to get alerts about competition times.

How can I watch on my TV?

Have an AppleTV, Roku or Fire TV? Get the Panam Sports Channel by searching your device's app store.

How can I watch on my computer?

To watch on your computer, go to panamsportschannel.org/main.

From that homepage, you'll see tiles showing which events are currently live.

To jump straight to the fencing page for live or on-demand fencing content:

  1. Click "Sports" at the top.
  2. Scroll to "Combat and Weight Class Sports."
  3. Click the right arrow until you find Fencing, and click the image.

The advantage of watching on your computer is that no account or login is required. (But you won't be able to save favorite sports or set alerts without an account.)

Which events are happening each day?

Team USA's fencers are competing every day from Oct. 30 to Nov. 4.

  • Monday, Oct. 30: Women's Foil and Men's Epee (Individual)
  • Tuesday, Oct. 31: Women's Saber and Men's Foil (Individual)
  • Wednesday, Nov. 1: Men's Saber (Individual)
  • Thursday, Nov. 2: Women's Team Foil and Men's Team Epee
  • Friday, Nov. 3: Women's Team Saber and Men's Team Foil
  • Saturday, Nov. 4: Men's Team Saber

But, like, what times specifically should I tune in?

Santiago's time zone is an hour ahead of Eastern Time. So when it's 9 a.m. in Santiago, it's 8 a.m. in New York.

Individual Competition Days: Oct. 30, Oct. 31, Nov. 1

The first three days are for individual competition, and these days begin with pools from 8 a.m. ET until 11 a.m. ET.

Fencers move from pools to the Round of 16, then the Quarterfinals and Semifinals. Each day’s gold medal finals are held at 5:10 p.m. ET and 5:45 p.m. ET.

Team Competition: Nov. 2, 3 and 4

For the team days, teams start in the quarterfinals at 8 a.m. ET and keep fencing all day until all places are determined, first through eighth. The gold medal finals are scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. ET.
