UPDATE: The January NAC day one schedule has been updated with start times beginning at 3 p.m.

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Due to the flight cancellations made in advance of the winter storms expected to affect the East Coast this week, USA Fencing will be delaying start times for the events on Friday at the January North American Cup Nourished by Black Angus Restaurant in Virginia Beach.

The updated check-in schedule is as follows:

2 - 3 p.m.
Division I Women’s Foil
Junior Women’s Epee
Wheelchair Men’s Saber
Senior Team Men’s Saber

5 - 6 p.m.
Wheelchair Women’s Saber

6 - 7 p.m.
Division I Men’s Epee (Day 1 Preliminary Rounds)

If you are unable to travel to the NAC due to cancelled flights, USA Fencing will allow individuals whose flights have been cancelled the option to receive a refund of their event fee(s) OR the option to transfer their event fees to any NAC, July Challenge or Championship event held between Feb. 1, 2018 and July 8, 2018. 

Please note: This process is for event fees only, not registration fees which are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of the January North American Cup.

Participants who have cancelled flights are asked to contact NationalEvents@usafencing.org by no later than 11:59 Pacific Time on Jan. 11. Please include in your email proof of flight cancellation as well as the athlete name and which event(s) from which you are withdrawing.
