Job Description: Fencing club in Northern Virginia area is searching for professional fencing coach candidates to support expanding club/business. In addition to experienced fencing professionals, the club would welcome working, less experienced fencing coaches who are willing to learn and grow as a coach with the club and its' students.
Responsibilities:
*Private Fencing Lessons
*Group Fencing lessons
*Fencing Demonstrations
*Attending Coach/Referee Education programs
*Other future duties, as club may request.
*Full time employment is envisioned but local professionals otherwise employed will be given consideration for part time as well.
Qualifications:
*Moniteur d'Armes or FIE Level 1/Level 2 coaching certification or better
*Previous experience teaching fencing in fencing club/program in group and/or individual lesson situations.
*Previous experience as a fencing competitor with interest in continuing in fencing as a coach teaching youth fencers to develop competitive fencers and good citizens.
*An exercise Science/Health Science background will be welcome, but not necessarily required.
*Willingness to learn and/or participate in continuing education.
