Who Has Influenced Her Career: Her coaches as well as fencers such as Kamali Thompson and Becca Ward, who have proved it's possible to be a great athlete aspiring for the Olympics as well as and a great mind pursuing education at the highest level, and a great professional blazing trails on the career front. Also, Kat Holmes is an alumna from her high school and Johnson interviewed her in sixth grade after the Rio Games, and it was a very motivating conversation. 
Something People Would Be Surprised to Know: She is interested in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and is learning Arabic as a hobby.
