2026–27 Event Combos Revealed: Nine Stops, And Who Fences At Each One
by Bryan Wendell
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — You've known most of the destinations for a while now (as seen on our National Events page). Orlando in October. Columbus in November. Oklahoma City in January. Salt Lake City next summer.
What you have not known is who fences where.
That changes today. USA Fencing is announcing the event combinations for all nine national competitions of the 2026–27 season, filling in the last big blank on the calendar just in time for families booking flights, coaches locking in lesson plans and fencers mapping the path to their next rating bump or national championship appearance.
A couple of locations are still coming together, and we would rather get you most of the picture now than all of it later. Watch for February and March NAC cities, plus hotel details, in the coming weeks.

Hotel booking is open for every event with a confirmed city, through our friends at Fastbreak AI, USA Fencing's official housing provider. Use the links in the table above. Rooms in the official block are negotiated on your behalf, and booking inside it helps USA Fencing hold down costs for everyone.
February and March hotel information will post as soon as those cities are confirmed.
Registration links for the October and November NACs will go live shortly. Watch for a follow-up with the registration open date and the key deadlines for each event.
Q: What criteria are considered when constructing the event combinations?
A: USA Fencing evaluates several factors, including registration crossover between categories, projected field sizes and how they fit into a balanced schedule, the total number of national events each category receives per season, and potential conflicts with the international calendar. These inputs, along with additional considerations, guide the final event combinations for every tournament.
Q: Where can parafencers compete this season?
Parafencing appears at the October NAC in Orlando, the January NAC and Junior Olympics in Oklahoma City, and the April NAC in Cincinnati. That is the same number of national parafencing opportunities as last season, with the mid-season event shifting from February to January.
Q: When will the February and March NAC locations be announced?
A: In the coming weeks, along with hotel booking details for both.
Q: By when must Division Qualifiers be held?
A: Division Qualifiers must be completed by the posted qualification deadline. That deadline will be announced in the coming weeks.
Q: Where do I find the rest of the details?
A: Final points roll-off schedules, qualification pathways and replacement events will appear in the Athlete Handbook before the season begins.
