Cloudflare to Become Official Technology Partner of USA Fencing, Power New Tournament Streaming Platform

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Fencing announced today a multi-year partnership with Cloudflare (NYSE: NET), the leading connectivity cloud company, as the Official Technology Partner of USA Fencing. As part of the partnership, Cloudflare will provide the Internet security, reliability, and performance tools powering Boutcaster — a new streaming platform built to revolutionize how fencing tournaments are experienced live and on demand.

Boutcaster had its latest successful test at the April 2026 North American Cup in Richmond, giving fans, families, coaches, officials and athletes the ability to watch more bouts on more streams.

The vision: Access fencing live or on demand, whether you’re watching across the convention center or across the world. The platform is designed to scale toward an ambitious vision: streaming every bout on every strip at every USA Fencing event.

The platform was created by David Baraff, a national-level fencing referee and technology expert who worked directly with Andrews and USA Fencing’s IT lead Zemi Lawrence to take the idea from concept to reality. Powered by Cloudflare’s content delivery network and streaming technology, Boutcaster delivers high-quality video to viewers regardless of where they are or how many streams are running simultaneously.

The Cloudflare logo will appear on USA Fencing national team medal stand uniforms for Senior, Junior, and Cadet teams, on stripside signage at all North American Cup events, and as a "Powered by Cloudflare" attribution on the Boutcaster platform itself.
