USA Parafencing to Host Virtual Training Camp Sept. 12-13

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – In an effort to continue the growth of parafencing across the country, the USA Parafencing program will host a virtual training camp from Sept. 12-13.

Athletes, coaches and clubs of all experience levels, including those looking to start a parafencing program, are invited to attend.

Sessions during the virtual camp include training with Parafencing National Team Coach Mickey Zeljkovic (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.), nutrition advice from United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee Sports Dietician Sally Bauman (Colorado Springs, Colo.), adaptive strength and conditioning techniques with Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Sharon Moskowitz (Denver, Colo.) and video analysis of all three weapons with Paralympic Games referees Jon Moss (Lee, N.H.) and Sean Shumate (Louisville, Ky.)

The camp is free for all participants. Registration is required and the deadline to register is Sept. 7 at 7 a.m. EDT.
