Junior Pan American Games: November 25-December 5 in Cali, Colombia

Update: On May 12, the Panam Sports Organization announced the postponement of the Games until November. 

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – The first-ever Junior Pan American Games will be held in Cali, Colombia in September with more than 3,500 athletes competing in 25+ sports.

The Games will be held from Sept. 9-19 with fencing competition to take place from Nov. 25 - Dec. 5.

One athlete will be selected per weapon with athletes born between 2001 and 2008 eligible to participate. Athletes also must have a current passport valid through Dec. 6.

Selection criteria is still being determined based on international criteria; however, this delegation is being overseen by the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee who require all individuals who are seeking to compete at the Games to complete eligibility and interest forms.
