By USA Fencing

In light of the recent increases of case numbers of COVID-19 and subsequent restrictions around the world, USA Fencing continues to monitor the evolving situation regarding the pandemic. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of all members and participants in fencing events.

At this time, we want to advise that the January NAC scheduled to be held in San Jose, CA from January 7-10 will remain as scheduled. The public health situation is rapidly evolving, however. Therefore, we encourage anyone planning on attending upcoming USA Fencing events to monitor our website at www.usafencing.org for any changes to the national or international event calendars.

COVID-19 protocols for our upcoming NAC in January remain in place, including a mask mandate, vaccination requirement, and social distancing. Beginning January 1, 2022, all attendees age 12 and older at USA Fencing national events, as well as individuals traveling to a sanctioned USA Fencing international event, must be fully and demonstrably vaccinated against COVID-19. For full details on the vaccine mandate, please see the announcement on our website.

We will continue to follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and are working in partnership with medical advisors at Mount Sinai for guidance. As this evolving situation unfolds, we will continue to update our members via our website at www.usafencing.org. Should you have questions, please email nationalevents@usafencing.org, and a member of our staff will get back to you. Voicemails are also being checked periodically while the offices are closed for the holidays, but to ensure we can respond to your inquiries promptly, please send by email whenever possible
