Have you ever been interested in finding a new way to let your voice be heard and give back to the USA Fencing community?

The USA Fencing Board of Directors has four positions open for election that allow the membership to do just that.

This year, these positions include two At-Large Directors, one Club Director and one Volunteer staff director.

The terms for each of these directors are two years and will begin on Sept. 1 when they will be seated as members of the 15-person board.

Who is eligible to run for election?
All candidates for this election must be current voting members of USA Fencing in good standing.

In addition, the Club Director must have established continuous affiliation with a USA Fencing member club and must have demonstrated familiarity with the responsibilities of club ownership and operations.

The Volunteer Staff Director must have demonstrated sustained involvement with and expertise in some aspect of national or international level competition or administration. This must be only in a volunteer capacity as the Volunteer Staff Director cannot be a current paid staff member of USA Fencing.

How do I apply?
To apply for nomination for one of these positions, please submit your resume detailing your education, work experience, skills, and involvement in USA Fencing, along with a cover letter specifying for which position or positions you seek nomination and detailing why you wish to serve on the Board and why you believe USA Fencing would benefit from your service.
