The registration deadline for the 2013 Cadet and Junior Pan Am Championships as stated in the Athlete Handbook, Section 6.10.1, has passed. As the Cadet and Junior Pan Am Championships dates are no longer in conflict with the 2013 Junior Olympic Championships, the National Office would like to announce that USA Fencing has extended the entry deadline for Cadet and Junior Pan Am Championships until 12 p.m. (noon) MST on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.
Competition Location and Dates: Ponce, Puerto Rico, February 6-11, 2013. For the full schedule, click here.
Selection Criteria: Up to four fencers in each weapon and age group will be selected based on the relevant National Team Points Standings as of the initial entry deadline of January 5, 2013. Fencers must be U.S. citizens at the time of selection. Juniors must meet the age requirements for the 2013 Junior World Championships. Cadets must meet the age requirements for the 2013 Cadet World Championships.
Entry Deadline: 12 pm (noon) MST Tuesday, January 22, 2013

Subject line: “Name of Fencer” Entry to Cadet and Junior Pan Am Championships. In the body of the email list the event (Junior or Cadet), weapon (foil, epee, or sabre), and individual or team or both.
Team Leader: A team leader will be selected if five or more fencers attend.
Funding: This will be a self-funded trip.
Armory: All fencers will be responsible for their own equipment
Travel and Hotel: Expenses will be the responsibility of the fencer. Should a team leader be selected, the team leader will coordinate transportation to and from the airport, air travel and hotel.
Entry fee: $20 USD per event to be paid in cash at the event by the fencer.
