USA Fencing Board of Directors Meeting: July 17
As is provided for in the USA Fencing bylaws, Article VII, Section 9, an emergency special meeting of the Board will take place via conference call at 6:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 17th.
Section 9. Emergency Meetings. In cases of true urgency, the President may call Emergency Meetings of the Board of Directors on not less than 24 hours’ written notice to each member of the Board of Directors. The notice required by this Section may be communicated by email or facsimile and shall state the nature of the emergency, the reasons the matter is urgent and actions proposed to be considered at the Emergency Meeting.
The meeting is being called to consider the proposed 2013-14 Budget and proposed Safe Sport Policy. The most recent versions of each of those documents is attached to this message. Each of these items is considered urgent in order to meet the deadline of being in place for the start of the next fiscal year.
