(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – USA Fencing is pleased to announce that Kelly Bowen (Chicago, Ill.) has been named as the organization’s membership services manager.

Bowen, who began her duties on Monday, comes to USA Fencing with experience in sports all levels – including the NFL Players Association where she coordinated logistics for athlete appearances as well as Little League international where she oversaw 600 member programs across seven states in the Southwest.

A graduate of Ball State University, Bowen holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a master’s in sport administration.

Most recently, Bowen worked with the Chicago Kids Company – a children’s theater company in Chicago – and says she is excited to return to working in sports.

“I have been looking forward to getting back into sports, and I’m both thrilled and honored to be given the opportunity to do so with USA Fencing,” Bowen said. “I am eager to join the staff and hope that my past experiences and passion for sports will help contribute to the success of the organization for many years to come.”
