(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Andras Horanyi (Colorado Springs, Colo.) advanced to the table of 32 at the Vancouver Epee Grand Prix in Canada on Sunday.

Horanyi entered the table of 64 as the 52^nd seed after the pools and preliminary rounds, but opened with a 14-13 upset over two-time Senior World medalist Bas Verwijlen (NED).

In the next round, Marco Fichera (ITA) led the bout, 14-10, late in the third period. Horanyi scored four straight to tie the bout in the final seconds, but the fourth touch was overturned. Fichera won the bout, 14-13, and Horanyi finished in 31^st place.

Jason Pryor (Colorado Springs, Colo.), a 2013 Senior World Team member, was seeded 18^th in the table of 64 after an undefeated run in the pools. Pryor lost his table of 64 bout to Hugues Boisvert-Simard (CAN), 15-10, and placed 37^th.

Adam Watson (Richford, Vt.), Pryor’s Senior World teammate, and two-time Junior World Team member Jonathan Yergler (Long Island City, N.Y.) finished 45^th and 46^th, respectively.

Watson lost to Frederik Von Der Osten (DEN), 15-13, and Yergler lost to Falk Spautz (GER), 15-9.

Alen Hadzic (New York, N.J.) finished 55^th after a 15-13 loss to Elmir Alimzhanov (KAZ).
