Watch the Absolute Fencing Gear® New York Grand Prix on the Universal Sports Network

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Fencing fans throughout the United States can tune in to watch the world’s best sabre fencers on television at 9 p.m. EST on Sunday, Dec. 21 when the Absolute Fencing Gear® New York Sabre Grand Prix airs on the Universal Sports Network.

Held on Dec. 14 at the Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn, N.Y., the Grand Prix finals included athletes from three continents with two-time Olympic Champion Mariel Zagunis (Beaverton, Ore.) fencing 2011 Senior World Champion Sofiya Velikaya (RUS) in the semifinals with the winner taking on two-time reigning Senior World Champion Olga Kharlan (UKR).

The broadcast also highlights a gold medal matchup between 2004 Olympic Champion Aldo Montano (ITA) and his 2012 Olympic Team Champion Junghwan Kim (KOR).  

The broadcast will be reaired with two encore presentations on Monday, Dec. 22 at 1 a.m. EST and 5 p.m. EST.
