(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – USA Fencing is pleased to announce the launch of National Fencing Weekend from Sept. 16-19 in which participants of all ages will have the opportunity to try fencing for the first time.

Following USA Fencing’s success at the Olympic Games, which saw Team USA bring home four medals from Rio, USA Fencing clubs will open their doors over the weekend for free fencing trials.

USA Fencing is partnering with the U.S. Olympic Committee and First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! Campaign to promote healthy lifestyles for kids and National Fencing Weekend will serve as a launchpad for future participation in the sport.
