2017 Youth Saber Clinic hosted by Olympic and World Champion Mariel Zagunis

Four-time Olympian Mariel Zagunis (Beaverton, Ore.) will be hosting multiple two-hour clinics for youth saber fencers during the USA Fencing National Championships and July Challenge.

Six clinics will be held from July 7-9 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to meet Mariel and work alongside her to gain invaluable knowledge into the mental and physical game of saber fencing.

Each two-hour session will include:

  • One-on-one mentoring and advice
  • Group drills and breakdowns of strategy and technique
  • Educational fencing games to help improve physical and mental skills
  • Discussions on goal setting, overcoming fear of failure, and what it takes to become a champion
  • Q & A session
  • Free T-shirt, autograph card, and photo opp with Olympic medals 
  • Lots of FUN and a whole lot more! 

Fencers are asked to pre-register for a specific day and time and must act FAST because space is limited!  Preregistration open on 6/10/2017, closes on 7/6/2017.

8:30-10:30 AM

4:30-6:30 PM 

Saturday July 8
9:00-11:00 AM 

and 

2:00-4:00 PM 

Sunday July 9
9:00-11:00 AM 

and 

2:00-4:00 PM 

Cost: $20 clinic fee + $30 registration fee

All proceeds will go to the Mariel Zagunis Women's Sabre Fund. MZWSF is committed to supporting the future of women's saber fencing in the United States.
