USA Fencing

The next session of the FIE Coaching Academy will be held from September 4 - December 1, 2017 in Budapest, Hungary and applications are being accepted for interested participants.

Twenty-six students from around the world will be enrolled in the course, which includes six hours a day, five days a week of instruction over a 12-week period. The course will culminate in a final exam and the academy is being held in partnership with the Hungarian University of Physical Education.

USA Fencing may designate a candidate and is calling for applicants to apply to USA Fencing by July 1. The chosen applicant will be notified by July 10. USA Fencing can send one person, but there is no guaranteed spot.

You may apply as either a current high-level athlete transitioning into coaching or as a current coach. Please fill out only one application.

High-level competitive athletes (Zonals or Olympics) who have recently retired from competition and are transitioning into coaching can download an application here.
