The 2019 USA Fencing Division I / Wheelchair National Championships and April North American Cup will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - USA Fencing is pleased to announce that Salt Lake City will host the 2019 Division I / Wheelchair National Championships and April North American Cup from April 12-15.
The four-day competition will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center. A former venue at the 2002 Olympic Games, the Salt Palace has hosted several major fencing events in the past, including the National Championships and July Challenge as well as the 2012 Junior Olympic Championships.
National Championships will be awarded for Division I fencers in individual and team events as well as individual wheelchair national titles.
Both domestic and international competitors will be included in the April North American Cup for Division II, III and veteran (ages 40+) fencers.
The 2017 Division I / Wheelchair Nationals were held in Richmond, Va. with the 2016 edition taking place in Baltimore, Md.
