USA Fencing and Sergey Danilov to Host Épée Coaching Clinic at the October NAC

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – USA Fencing will host an épée coaching clinic at the Milwaukee NAC on October 12 from 5-7 p.m. in Room 202A of the Wisconsin Center.

Led by four-time Junior and Cadet World Team coach Sergey Danilov, the clinic, titled “Training Process in Fencing - Structure, Components and Their Connections,” will address components such as footwork, blade work, mission bouts, fitness and their connection to each other in developing épée fencers, from the beginner level and beyond.

Danilov, who is currently coaching at Alliance Fencing Academy, brings 14 years of coaching experience to share with the participants. As a cadet fencer, Sergey was the Russian national champion and was educated at the National University of Physical Education in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The clinic fee is $50 for USA Fencing Coach members and $100 for all other USA Fencing members.
