Job Title: Saber Coach
Start Date: July or August 2022
Job Description: We are looking for an accomplished Saber Coach to help teach our over 30 Advanced fencers as well as over 20 intermediate fencers as we continue to grow. Our facility is over 15,000 square fee of fencing space. We have a young saber program where you, as a coach, will be able to make your mark. Pay is competitive, depending on experience (over 50K per year), working hours are from 3 - 10:30 p.m. (with some flexibility). We provide full medical insurance as well as dental and vision. The club is among the top 10 largest clubs in the country and is over 40 years old.
Responsibilities: This job requires leading group class sessions that you are assigned, as well as the private session for your fencers. You will help develop/improve the annual curriculum as well as help develop/improve the annual curriculum and the athletic development for fencers. Travel to major international and/or national events as well as local events for strip coaching.
Qualifications:
1. Must have accomplished a high level of personal accomplishments in competitive fencing.
2. Must have proven coach ability with results.
3. Please provide a list of the coaches you have trained under, your accomplishments and your students with their wins.
4. Prefer 3 or more years of coaching experience.
