March 2024 SJCC Officials Information

Hotel

The Madison Hotel

Please note that the hotel is a 0.7 mile/15-minute walk to the venue so please plan accordingly in the mornings.

 

A shuttle will run at 7:15 a.m. for those who are not physically able to make the walk.

Cadre Call

The March Pre-SJCC Call will be Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Please watch your inbox for the Zoom info.

Mandatory Referee Meeting

There will be a mandatory referee meeting in Room 204A at 7:45 a.m. on March 15.

Credential Pickup

All tournament officials will need a credential for the 2023-24 season. Once issued, your credential is to be used throughout the duration of the season. Credentials for this season can be picked up at the officials booth at the registration area starting at 7 a.m. Replacement credentials during the season will cost $20, which will be taken out of payment at the next event worked. Referees will use their credentials to check-in at the Bout Committee stage.

Transportation

DCA: Uber and Lyft are encouraged for those flying into Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA) due to the close proximity of the staff hotel to the airport.

 

IAD: For those flying into IAD (Dulles) who want reimbursement for their travel expenses to and from the hotel, you will be required to take the train from the airport station (Silver Line Center Platform) into the city (McPherson Square Metro Station) that drops you off 0.3 miles/7 minute from the hotel. Exception will be made for those with extenuating circumstances upon approval from Michael Aiken  (m.aiken@usafencing.org)
