Treasurer

Emily Bian, Corporate Controller for Higher Logic LLC, is a seasoned financial leader with 20+ years finance & accounting experiences specialized in technology, manufacturing, and consulting industry.  

Emily is a licensed CPA and has a Master of Accountancy degree. She has worked for Big 4 accounting firms such as KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In the past 15 years, she has held controller role for organizations from private as well as publicly traded companies. Emily has also served as Treasure and board member for other non-for-profit organization. 

Emily took the Deputy Treasurer role in March 2023 and shadowed the then Treasurer, Samuel Cheris, gaining valuable insights into the organization's financial operations. She was elected into the Treasurer role after serving approximately six months as Deputy Treasurer.  Her expertise in accounting and corporate finance positions her well to oversee the financial health and sustainability of USA Fencing.

Emily currently lives in Atlanta, Ga., with her husband and two daughters. Outside work Emily enjoys hiking and cooking.
