About me: I joined USA Fencing in July 2022 as the Athlete Safety and Compliance Manager. In my role, I serve as the primary adminstrator for all SafeSport, disciplinary and other compliance related matters. I am responsible for oversight of USA Fencing's FenceSafe program, providing education to our fencing community on SafeSport policies, and helping to manage the reporting and investigation process.

I come to USA Fencing with over 10 years of experience in Division I NCAA Compliance, most recently having spent the previous 7 years as the Senior Associate Athletic DIrector for Compliance and Student-Athlete Support Services at the University of Denver.

I am a proud alumni of the University of Louisville where I was a member of the women's golf team, earned a B.S in Sport Administration, and continued on to earn my Juris Doctor degree.

Favorite part of the job: My favorite thing about working for USA Fencing is getting to know and being inspired by our fencing community. This is such an empowering sport; the passion and confidence that exudes off of our fencers as they compete is contagious and I hope to bring that same level of intensity and devotion to my role here.

Favorite activities: I now live in Denver with my husband, Adam Trenkamp, and our golden retriever Oakley. We love doing all the cliche Colorado things - hiking, mountain biking, climbing, snowboarding, and camping!
