Job Description

Olympia Fencing Center, with locations in Cambridge and Newton, MA is looking for Épée coaches for our growing classes.

Work part-time and earn a full-time salary -the pay goes to $80K/year for a well-qualified individual.

This is a great opportunity to advance your coaching career by working with our amazing team of coaches, and nationally and internationally ranked students!

We will train any fencer with a competitive background who wants to become a fencing coach.

We can assist with relocating, if applicable.

Responsibilities

- Be a team player
- Available to work weekends
- Dress professionally, wear club-branded gear
- Teach fencing classes/private lessons/camps for ages 7 and up
- Able to review students based on performance and provide feedback to the management
- Knowledge of the USFA rules and regulations, rolling points, Athlete Handbook.
- Have reliable transportation and travel to competitions
- Provide strip coaching at tournaments

Qualifications (Education, years experience, etc)

- the ability to pass a background check/Safe Sport
certification
- fencing or coaching experience at the Regional or
National level
- at least High School Diploma
- strong verbal communication skills
- US Citizen or work permit a plus
- we can assist with O1 or H-1B visas, for those who
qualify.
