Job Title: Head Foil/Head Saber Coach

Job Description: The program has around 80 foil and saber fencers 7-16 y.o. and is growing fast.
With 8,500 sq.ft and 17 Olympic length strips, we are one of the largest fencing clubs between the coasts. In our 3 years, our fencers have already attained high regional and national rankings. Some of the best coaches in the world (from afar) have helped put our program together, and now we need a head coach on site.
In addition, to improve mental and physical preparedness for our fencers, we offer footwork, strength, conditioning, speed and coordination classes.
On site, we have basketball, ping pong, chess, 4 bathrooms, full size womens and mens locker rooms, coaches lounge, and a full size parents waiting room with TVs and internet. We have a 25 foot movie screen and have lots of interactive evening activities throughout the year with parents and fencers.
We provide a very competitive compensation to allow for a comfortable lifestyle. We can help with housing and relocation.
Responsibilities: -set the direction of the Foil / Saber programs,
-coach the intermediate and advanced fencers,
-help overlook the beginner classes,
-train the intermediate coaches,
-oversee summer and winter camps,
-travel with the fencers to the important competitions,
-workdays -Sunday-Thursday (Friday and Saturday off)
-we do not work major holidays
Qualifications: -competed at a high level, and/or coached at a competitive level,
-be a team player, and help with the running of the club, not just coach,
-speak English (or Russian, Ukrainian, or Arabic)
-if moving with a partner (husband/wife) who also is a (potential) fencing instructor, we can provide part time employment for an additional foil, epee, or saber coach
