Job Title: Epee, Foil, Sabre Fencing Coaches & Assistant Fencing Coaches
Start Date: 7/1/2023
Job Description: each Introduction, Fencing, and/or Advance Fencing Classes.
Train Assistant Coaches and Student Coaches.
Travel to regional and/or national tournaments.
Organize and/or take part in Summer Programs, Clinics, Camps.
Perform Personalized Fencing Lessons as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities: The Long Island Fencers' Club's membership is rapidly expanding and applicants must be prepared to evolve with our program.
Qualifications: USA Fencing Coaching Membership.
SafeSport and Criminal Background Check compliant.
Red Cross Certification (accomplished within 60 days after start date is acceptable).
Valid Driver’s License.
Competitive Fencer with a “C” rating or higher and/or three years of coaching experience.
Motivated and desiring to establish a positive reputation as a fencing coach.
Effectively communicate via the English language, multilingual and/or American Sign Language certified is a plus, but not required.

NOTE: Applicants may upgrade their USA Fencing Membership, complete Safesport, and the Criminal Background check upon mutual agreement to coach, but may not coach until all required qualifications have been obtained.
Additional Information: The Long Island Fencers’ Club is a non-profit fencing club with two (2) club locations with the potential for two (2) Head Coaches per weapon. Our Huntington and Patchogue locations are twenty-five (25) miles apart and are strategically located to maximize memberships at each site. This is a great opportunity to begin your journey into competitive coaching and/or establish a program.
Position: Long Island Fencers’ Club seeks highly motivated experienced and/or novice Epee, Foil, and Sabre Fencing Coaches and Assistant Fencing Coaches looking to develop a program and reputation.
Club Locations: Huntington Village and Patchogue Village, New York
Present Membership: 70 plus active members
