On April 22 and 23, members of the fencing community are invited to “take a stab at” USA Fencing CEO Phil Andrews as part of an unforgettable new fundraiser benefiting the U.S. Fencing Foundation.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Whether you want to “take a stab” at fencing against our CEO, have some frustrations to get out or simply want to support a good cause, you won’t want to miss your chance to “Fence Against Phil” during the Division I National Championships and April North American Cup.

On April 22 and 23, the U.S. Fencing Foundation invites you to put your fencing skills to the test in this unique and engaging fundraiser event, where participants can let loose and have some fun fencing against CEO Phil Andrews — all in the spirit of supporting a worthy cause.

Now, Phil isn’t an elite fencer himself, but he is up for the challenge and ready to face some good-natured ribbing in the name of fundraising.

Whether you’re an experienced fencer or a newbie, this lighthearted five-touch parafencing epee bout offers the chance to enjoy some friendly competition while contributing to the future of fencing. With a donation of any amount, participants can take a seat and take a shot at out-touching Phil.

By participating, you’ll help the U.S. Fencing Foundation raise funds that to support fencers at all stages of their careers, from beginners to U.S. Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls, to Veterans. Proceeds will help the Foundation provide resources such as coaching, equipment, mental health support, youth camps, training and travel stipends.

And it gets even better. For every touch scored against Phil, our CEO will personally donate $1 to the Foundation and $1 to the Ukrainian Athletes Support Fund, further extending the reach of each participant's contribution.

If you're not able to attend the event but still want to support this fantastic cause, you can make a donation of $25 or more here. Join in on the excitement and contribute to the future of fencing by taking a friendly jab at our CEO!
