Fans interested in purchasing tickets must create account on CoSport website prior to ticket launch

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - The U.S. Olympic Committee and CoSport today announced the timeline for the U.S. launch of the sale of all remaining tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games. CoSport has been appointed by the USOC as its exclusive authorized ticket reseller and hospitality package provider for the 2012 Games.

CoSport will commence this second phase of sales at 12 p.m. ET on Tues., June 28, 2011. The sales phase is "live," meaning customers will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis for all tickets not sold during the first phase of sales.

Those interested in purchasing tickets and/or ticket & hospitality pass packages (THPPs - as described below) during the upcoming live-sales phase must create an account on the CoSport website at least two hours prior to the launch. Accounts can be created at no cost and without obligation from CoSport's website at .  Accounts do not have to be created in advance for the purchase of hospitality packages.

The first sales phase began in March 2011 and concluded in May 2011. Demand for tickets was very high during the first sale phase; however, a number of quality tickets remain and will be put on sale for the upcoming second phase.

THPPs include single tickets to three separate sport-event sessions, as well as a single-entry pass to CoSport's downtown London hospitality center. CoSport will continue its online sales of hospitality packages, which combine hotel rooms with Olympic tickets, thus allowing customers a single purchase to create their Olympic program in London. All sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.

In recognition of Visa's support of the Olympic Games, the USOC is proud to accept only Visa for London 2012 Olympic Games ticket purchases.
