USA Fencing

A reception in memory of 1964 Olympian Ed Richards will be held from 7-9 p.m. on June 30 during the USA Fencing National Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

The reception will take place in Rooms D130-131 at the Columbus Convention Center.

A 2005 USA Fencing Hall of Fame inductee, Richards passed away in November in Las Vegas.

His son Mark, daughters Karen and Debra, nieces and nephews and former wife and close friend Carla Mae Richards will be in attendance at the event.

Attendees are invited to relive the lively stories Ed gave each of us and raise a glass to toast his life and the memories he left with each of us – Ed the athlete, coach, referee and fencing’s raconteur.
