(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – The USA Fencing membership and events platform, member.usafencing.org, will serve as the online registration hub for regional fencing events beginning in the 2018-19 season.
The database, which launched earlier this year for national and international registration, will give USA Fencing members the ability to register at member.usafencing.org for Super Youth Circuit, Regional Open Circuit, Regional Youth Circuit and Regional Junior and Cadet Circuit tournaments.
For the remainder of the 2017-18 season, regional tournament organizers will be able to utilize askfred.net for event registration as well as any other platform of the organizer’s choosing.
AskFred.net’s site operators, Peet Sasaki and Michael Green, are working in partnership with USA Fencing during this period of transition and will continue to provide support to regional event organizers throughout the 2017-18 season.
When the regional registration system launches for the 2018-19 season, tournament organizers will be able to use member.usafencing.org for event registration as well as to upload results into each USA Fencing member’s profile. The updated platform will allow USA Fencing to update ratings and classification changes more expediently and members will have access to all of their regional, national and international results in a single hub.
