Both fencing and fine wine reward patience, precision, and passion. Every great fencer knows that timing, balance, and intent make the difference between a touch and a miss - and every great winemaker brings those same qualities to their craft. The 1896 Wine Club celebrates that shared artistry while supporting the programs that help our athletes and clubs thrive. We're grateful to Wine VIP for this partnership.

To celebrate the beginning of The 1896 Club, we are kicking things off with an exclusive launch offering of six bottles — two bottles of each — for the first 100 USA Fencing members to attack!

Exclusive Launch Offer

We thought it only fitting for our inaugural offer to highlight wines from the birthplace of modern fencing and home to many of the world’s most celebrated wine regions: France!

As the birthplace of modern fencing and a land of storied vineyards, France embraces finesse, balanace, patient skill, and of course, fine wine. Beginning with French wine lets us honor values shared with the sport we love, such as grace under pressure and respect for tradition. We invite members to enjoy both the perfect pour and the perfect parry while raising a glass to the heritage that connects us!
