Darryl Jacobs

Independent Director

Darryl currently serves as Executive Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for RISING COACHES, the most prominent coaches' organization in America. RISING COACHES consist of coaches from the NBA, WNBA, and college to grassroots basketball. In addition, he serves as a College Basketball Analyst for ESPN Networks and sits on the DEI board of commission for USA Weightlifting and the board of directors for World Sports Alumni.

He is the host of two national podcasts on the Rising Coaches Networks ("RIGHT FIT") & Ebony Magazine Podcast Networks ("STRAIGHT TO THE POINT"). Previously, he served as a successful Executive Vice President for a sports technology company, overseeing projects and fiscal management, sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, and human resources processes. 

As a member of the board of directors for World Sports Alumni, he works with retired and current athletes from the NBA, NFL, MLB, MMA, and Boxing, among others. In addition, he advises and assists with career transitioning, branding, public relations, strategic partnerships, sponsorship acquisitions, speaking engagements, and public appearances.

He spent over 20 years in collegiate athletics as a successful athletic administrator and head men's basketball coach leading several programs to conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances. In addition, he served on several NCAA committees. As a result, he has built strategic partnerships with search firms,  multi-media rights companies, amateur athletics, and professional sports organizations.
