USA Fencing Club Membership and Insurance Program
Protection Program powered by Golden, backed by Corgi.
Your protection program is powered by Golden, backed by Corgi. As a USA Fencing member club in good standing, your membership now includes insurance for both your sanctioned events and your registered club activities, your everyday fencing, as long as every participant is a USA Fencing member. Everything you need lives on this page: what is covered, how to request a certificate, how to file a claim, and your documents.

Free coverage review
Start your review, opens in a new tabA licensed specialist reads your club's own policy. A member benefit, no obligation.
Six lines of protection, included with your membership:
- General Liability: $5M per occurrence / $5M general aggregate, $0 deductible (products and completed operations $2M; personal and advertising injury $1M; damage to premises rented to you $1M; medical expense $5K per person).
- Participant Legal Liability: $1M, its own separate limit, so a participant injury does not reduce your general liability. Requires a signed waiver on file for each participant.
- Abuse and Misconduct Liability: $1M per claim / $2M aggregate, claims-made, $0 retention, with SafeSport compliance as a condition of coverage.
- Hired and Non-Owned Auto Liability: $1M each accident.
- Participant Accident Medical: $25K per injury, excess of the injured person's own health plan ($500 deductible with primary coverage, $2,500 without; treatment within 180 days; three-year benefit period). Includes accidental death of $25K per covered person; dismemberment and paralysis per the policy schedule.
- Foreign Travel Medical: $250K per person for international travel ($250 deductible; $50K accidental death and dismemberment; emergency evacuation and repatriation included; pays excess, or primary where your health plan does not pay abroad; trips up to 60 days).
- Every USA Fencing sanctioned event, at every level (local, regional, national), covered automatically with no listing.
- Your registered club activities: practices, classes, lessons, clinics, day camps, tryouts, and intra-club events run and supervised by your club.
- Supervised team travel to and from covered activities, and international travel on USA Fencing business.
The one condition: your registered club activities are covered only while every participant is a USA Fencing member in good standing, including anyone on a valid trial membership with the trial form on file. Keep every participant current, keep a signed waiver on file for each, and meet SafeSport and background-screening requirements. If a non-member takes part in a club activity, that activity is not covered.
What is not included
Your membership covers fencing. It does not cover non-fencing activities or programs that include non-member participants, your club building on a full-time basis or club-owned vehicles, club property and equipment, or business exposures such as directors and officers, employment practices, cyber, and crime. These are available as optional coverage at member pricing.
For programs open to non-members, higher limits, or a review of a policy you already carry, start a complimentary coverage review and a licensed specialist will show you exactly where your gaps are.
