Jennifer Vernon#

About: Born and raised in North Jersey, I originally became interested in fencing during high school where I began as an epee fencer. After graduating, I began fencing as a division 1 fencer for Fairleigh Dickinson University. When I completed my bachelor’s degree, I moved to Delaware where I helped coach the University of Delaware's fencing team.

I joined USA Fencing because despite no longer being an actively competitive fencer, I still wanted to contribute to the sport that helped me grow and thrive as a person today.

Some fun facts about me: I've visited 15 different countries so far, with China being my longest stay (lived there for 6 months!); most days my dog, Taylor, and my two cats, Teddy and Tilly, will silently supervise me during working hours to make sure I am working as fast and efficiently as possible.

Favorite Activities: I love traveling, but when I'm not, my hobbies include making art (mostly portraits), playing D&D, and cooking!
