Lower Club Dues, Same $99 Competitive Rate: USA Fencing Announces 2025-26 Membership Pricing
by Bryan Wendell
Standard club fees drop 25%, while most individual rates remain flat — keeping fencing one of the best values in Olympic and Paralympic sport.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Fencing has released its 2025-26 membership pricing, and the headline news is a big win for clubs: the standard club membership falls from last season’s $800 cap to $599, with the $199 rate for school-based and start-up clubs unchanged.
On the individual side, the widely used Competitive membership stays at $99 for the third straight year, while only two tiers see modest changes — Access rises $5 to $34, and the International Competitive license goes to $149.
Membership | 2024-25 | 2025-26 | Change |

Collegiate Competitive | $55 | $55 | $0.00 |
Competitive | $99 | $99 | $0.00 |
International Competitive | $115 | $149 | $34.00 |

Club (Discounted) | $199 | $199 | $0.00 |
*Because of the lower base price, clubs no longer receive a discount based on their membership size.
USA Fencing’s membership bundles extras — liability insurance at sanctioned events, national rankings, voting rights, exclusive webinars and member-only partner discounts — that some sports sell à la carte.
While the $99 fee for Competitive members is paid all at once, if you spread it over 12 months, it’s just $8.25 a month for year-round access to competitions at local, regional and national levels.
Early-Bird Renewal Saves Even More
When renewals open June 1, members will have a limited window to lock in 2024-25 prices before the new rates for Access and International Competitive members activate. Renewing early means an Access membership at $29 or an International Competitive license at last year’s $115, making an already-strong value even better.
Members on the AutoRenewal plan will renew at the 2024-25 year pricing.
But hurry. This early-bird renewal window ends July 31, 2025.
With lower club dues, steady rates for most individuals and benefits that keep pace with — or exceed — other Olympic and Paralympic sports, USA Fencing continues to invest in a thriving community for the 2025-26 season.
