Leo Curtis Places 23rd at Lonato Wheelchair World Cup

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Leo Curtis (Rainier, Ore.) finished 23rd in his international fencing debut at the Lonato Wheelchair World Cup in Italy on May 26.

Fencing in the Category A men’s saber competition, Curtis defeated Pietro Miele (ITA), 5-0, in the pools, but lost his remaining bouts and did not make the cut into the direct elimination tables.
