Reno to Host 2015 USA Fencing Division I National Championships and March NAC

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – USA Fencing is pleased to announce that the 2015 Division I National Championships and March North American Cup will be held in Reno, Nev. from Feb. 27 – March 2.  

The Division I National Championships will feature many of the athletes who are hopefuls for the 2016 Olympic Team, including medalists from the 2012 Olympic Games as well as the 2013 and 2014 Senior World Championships.

The event will serve as a major qualifying tournament for the 2015 Senior World Championships as well as the 2015 Pan American Championships and 2015 Junior World Championships.

Competition will be held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center which has been the home of numerous major fencing championships, including the 2011 USA Fencing National Championships, 2011 Pan American Championships and 2013 March North American Cup.

In addition to the Division I Nationals, the competition also will include the March North American Cup for wheelchair, veteran and Division III fencers.
