April 9, 2023 #
WOMEN'S FOIL FENCERS:
- Event date and location changes - please see table below for complete details.
- SWF Poznan/Tbilisi - athletes who registered for Poznan now have a status of PENDING. We will re-do selections for Tbilisi according to the table below. If you registered for Poznan, you do not need to register for Tbilisi.
- APRIL NAC - due to the changes, women's foil fencers can still register for the April NAC at regular fees. Please email international@usafencing.org no later than Friday, April 14 if you wish to register.

February 21, 2023 #
The Division I and Junior events at the April 2023 National Championships and NAC will count for rolling points only for all junior and cadet weapons.
Designated Senior international events held after the selection date will not count for Junior & Cadet rolling or team points unless specified in the selection criteria.
March 1, 2023 (WF updated April 9, 2023) #
Full selection criteria for the 2023-24 international season will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please be advised of the following urgent notes concerning team selection for 2023-24:
2024 Olympic Games and Zonal Championships (Senior) #
The following 22/23 Designated Senior events will count for selection to the 2024 Olympic and Zonal Teams:
- ME – Cali, St. Maur
- MF – Acupulco, Shanghai
- MS – Seoul, Madrid
- WE – Cali, Abu Dhabi
- WF – Tbilisi (updated 4/9/23)
- WS – Seoul, Batumi
See below for 2023 World Championships results that will count for 2024 Teams.
- For all senior weapons, the Div I events at the 2023 Summer Nationals/July Challenge will count for rolling points only.

2024 Cadet & Junior World Championships #
See below for 2023 World Championships results that will count for 2024 Teams.
- As a reminder, the Cadet events at the March 2023 NAC will count for rolling points only.
- The Division I and Junior events at the April 2023 National Championships and NAC will count for rolling points only for all junior and cadet weapons.
- For all cadet and junior weapons, the Div I, Junior and Cadet events at the 2023 Summer Nationals/July Challenge will count for rolling and team points.
- For women's saber only, the final two Designated Senior events of the 22/23 season (Seoul & Batumi) will count for selection to the 2024 Cadet & Junior Women's Saber World Championship Team.

Both the 2023 Junior Pan American Championships and the 2023 SMS Padua World Cup will count for selection for the 2023 Junior Men's Saber World Championships team

JWS Clarification: #
Both the 2023 Junior Pan American Championships and the 2023 SWS Athens World Cup will count for selection for the 2023 Junior Women's Saber World Championships team

2023 March Cadet NAC Clarification: #
Cadet events at the March NAC will count for ROLLING points only - for both the 2023 and 2024 Cadet World Championship teams.

Full selection criteria for the 2022-23 international season will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please be advised of the following urgent notes concerning team selection for 2022-23:
2023 Senior World and Zonal Championships #
- For men's foil only, the final two Designated Senior events of the 21/22 season (Plovdiv + Seoul/Incheon) will count for selection to the 2023 Senior World and Zonal Championship Teams. If either or both event(s) is canceled, it will not be replaced with an alternate event(s) from the 21/22 season. To clarify, Plovdiv and Seoul/Incheon will count for both the 2022 and 2023 Senior Men's Foil World and Zonal Championship Teams.

- For all weapons, the Div I events at the 2022 Summer Nationals/July Challenge will count for rolling points only.
