About United States Fencing Foundation

About the Foundation

Established in 1986 as a result of the United States Olympic Committee's unprecedented financial success and surplus in hosting the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Games, the United States Fencing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nongovernmental nonprofit organization.

USA Fencing and the United States Fencing Foundation are partnering to raise financial support through specific fundraising initiatives. The Foundation serves as a longer term philanthropic arm to USA Fencing and supports the work of the organization by providing annual grants and special contributions for large-scale programmatic impact. Endowment contributions and planned giving opportunities are available as tax-deductible gifts to the Foundation. These programs ensure fencers in America have the best possible opportunities for success on the strip and in life.
