  • Code of Conduct

    These Codes of Conduct provide boundaries and expectations for behavior; behavior that will help ensure a positive and safe environment at our USA Fencing clubs and events. With clear boundaries, expectations and requirements related to appropriate and inappropriate behavior, club, staff, officials and others can more effectively manage the environment. Be sure to educate yourself and others regarding – post the Codes in your club, talk to parents and discuss it with fencers

  • Background Check

    This policy was developed by the USOPC for NGBs, including USA Fencing. The Policy strives to help (a) foster a safe environment (b) create a safe living, training, and competition environment for athletes and other individuals associated with USA Fencing and (c) protect persons at risk, including, but not limited to, minors and vulnerable adults.

  • Blackcards

    In order to provide a safe environment for all USA Fencing members, including athletes, coaches, parents, referees and spectators, the USA Fencing Board of Directors approved updated Black Card Policies effective October 18, 2019. Black Cards issued at tournaments at all levels (local, regional, and national) will be tracked and monitored by the National Office and Ethics Committee as detailed in the Black Card Policy.

  • Safesport Code

    This U.S. Center for SafeSport Code establishes consistent standards of response and resolution to abuse and misconduct claims behavior across the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. The USOPC, NGBs, and LAOs must comply, in all respects, with these policies and procedures as defined by the Code. All participants of these organizations are responsible for adhering to and understanding the Code.
