National Event Officials' Information
The Official's Information page is where USA Fencing Officials, or those looking to become one, can find important info regarding working National Tournaments (NACs and National Championships). This page contains general information for Armory, Bout Committee, IT, Referees, Replay, and our Medical team to help answer some of the more frequently asked questions.
Submitting Availability
Submit Availability, opens in a new tabFor referees at National Tournaments, you must submit your availability for review by the hiring referee to be considered. Eligible referees will receive a notification when hiring opens for each tournament. Once open, you can submit your availability for a given tournament by logging in, using the link at the button below.
Submitting Expenses
More InfoFor costs that officials need to request reimbursement for, these requests must be submitted via Emburse Certify as the approved app. Haven't worked a national event before OR have not received your welcome email from Emburse this season? Please reach out to g.hollingsworth@usafencing.org for set up help. USA Fencing works with Cain Travel to help book officials' travel by air and rail. Booking through Cain allows officials to have a one stop shop for all carriers, and when bookings are made through Cain, the National Office pays for your transportation, saving you the headache of fronting this expense. For any additional questions regarding travel, please email travel@usafencing.org

USA Fencing provides accommodations for all officials with a roommate, at no added charge to the official. Should you wish to be placed in a room without a roommate, you may request this. Officials who request no roommate will be responsible for payment of the Single Room Nightly Rate, as indicated below for the respective tournament.
