Two USA Fencing members in grade 6 or higher who apply to Dwight Global for 2026–27 will receive full‑tuition support that continues through graduation.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — For student-athletes whose calendars are packed with training blocks, travel days and competition weekends, Dwight Global Online School has become a leading option. The flexible, accredited school, which is ranked as the #1 online school in the United States, is built to deliver rigorous academics that move with fencers — across time zones, national events and even international trips. Dwight Global boasts top college acceptances and provides flexible and year-round scheduling, while also customising an educational path for promising student-athletes in grades 6-12.

Now there’s one more reason for USA Fencing families to consider Dwight Global: the school is launching two full-tuition scholarships created specifically for USA Fencing members.

Dwight Global, USA Fencing’s Official Online Global School through 2033, will award these scholarships for the 2026-27 school year to USA Fencing members in grade 6 and up who apply to Dwight Global, are admitted and meet the scholarship criteria.

Designed for families already exploring Dwight Global as a potential full-time school, the scholarships help make that choice more accessible. There’s no separate “scholarship-only” track; instead, eligible applicants are drawn from the pool of students who apply and are admitted to Dwight Global.

Each award covers 100% of Dwight Global tuition and continues through the recipient’s graduation from Dwight Global.

Who is eligible?

To be considered, students must:

  • Be in grade 6 or higher for the 2026-27 school year
  • Be a current member of USA Fencing in good standing
  • Apply to Dwight Global and meet the school’s admission standards

A joint selection committee with representatives from Dwight Global and USA Fencing will review qualified applicants. The committee will take a holistic view, considering:

  • Academic preparedness and extracurricular achievement
  • Character and positive contributions to school, club or community
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Fencing accomplishment and commitment to the sport

What the scholarship covers

Scholarship recipients receive full tuition at Dwight Global through graduation. The scholarships do not cover fees for textbooks, occasional lab materials, optional trips and programs, or external exams, such as AP and IB exams. Families should plan separately for these costs.

How to be considered

  1. Apply to Dwight Global Online School by February 20 for enrollment in the 2026-27 school year to receive priority consideration for the scholarship.
  2. During the application process, inform the Dwight Global admissions team that you would like to be considered for the Dwight Global/USA Fencing Scholarship.

From there, eligible USA Fencing members who have applied and been admitted to Dwight Global will be reviewed by the joint selection committee, which will select two scholarship recipients.
