A coach watches her fencers intently

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Fencing today thanked Natalie Dostert as she concludes her service as Women’s Epee National Coach. Dostert made this decision herself and departs in good standing. We wish her the very best — both at Alliance Fencing Academy in Houston and beyond.

“On behalf of USA Fencing, I want to thank Coach Dostert for the professionalism, deep care and steady leadership she brought to our Women’s Epee program,” says USA Fencing CEO Phil Andrews. “Natalie most certainly cares about athletes and their development, and she has served our community with integrity. Our program is deeply grateful for her service, and we hope this is not ‘goodbye’ but rather ‘see you later.’ We appreciate her contributions and wish her continued success at Alliance Fencing Academy and in all that comes next, personally and professionally.”

Recent highlights from Dostert’s tenure include coaching Team USA to qualify for and compete at the Olympic Games Paris 2024; guiding the Junior Women to a world championship in 2024 in Saudi Arabia; and leading the Senior Women to team gold at the Pan American Zonal Championships in June 2025 in Brazil — alongside numerous individual and team podium finishes.

"It has been an incredible honor to work with this amazing group of women,” Dostert says. “I'm so proud of what we've accomplished together as a team — their dedication, resilience, and spirit have been truly inspiring. I'll continue cheering them on as they reach new heights, and I wish them all the best in their future successes.”

USA Fencing extends sincere gratitude to Coach Dostert for her time, expertise and commitment to the Women’s Epee program.
