It's a party in the USA!!! (For the Winter Olympics 100 Day Countdown!)

We're here in Rockefeller Center all day today with Winter Olympians and various other celebrities celebrating 100 days until the start of the Vancouver Olympics! I will be blogging on location all day, an opportunity provided by Acer.

Right now, Rockefeller Center is an Olympic wonderland! There will be sports demonstrations, autograph sessions and tons of fun to be had! If you're in New York City you should definitely stop by, but if not you can follow all the action right here on www.teamusa.org! Watch my video interviews with Jim Craig and Sho Kashima and Emily Cook .

Olympic Speed Skater Joey Cheek gets a fencing lesson from Olympic Fencer Jason Rogers!  It's been a fun day so far!  We must thank some of our awesome sponsors for helping to make this day a success: Coca-Cola, 24 Hour FItness, Nike, Acer, Omega, McDonalds and Hilton Hotels.

Jason Rogers, Tim Morehouse, Sarah Hughes and Joey Cheek

Melissa and Denis Petukhov performed and then some students from Hartford did a performance.  They are part of a program Melissa and Denis have founded that teaches inner-city youth about figure skating.

Denis and Melissa Petukhov. You can check my interview with them at: www.timmorehouse.wordpress.com

The Autograph booth! Cash and Yohe sign for some excited fans!

The "Fear No Ice" group just completed this amazing ice sculpture.  They looked kind of like blue-man group, but dressed in white and using ice instead of paint!   In other news, we're starting to warm up here and the sun just came out! McDonalds has been providing us with some nice hot coffee!

 (Here is the before picture!)

Paralympians Andy Yohe and Steve Cash just taught some children how to play sled hockey.  It looked like a tremendous arm workout and a lot of fun!

We've been making our homebase today at the Acer computer company's table.   Phil from Acer has been great with helping us set up the technology we've needed to upload content all day.(also, providing us a space heater to keep warm!)    On a very exciting note, Acer is donating computers to local public schools! (GO ACER!)   Olympian Jason Rogers and Melvin Rodriguez have been helping out with posts, pictures and videos! Thanks guys! I couldn't have pulled this off without you!   Let me know what other context you'd like to see! Tweet me at www.twitter.com/timmorehouse

Today is the day that we get a first look at the Polo's much anticipated apparel for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games (on winter athltes Sho Kashima and Emily Cook). Polo took over as an official sponsor of the USOC in 2008 wowing everyone with their opening ceremonies wear and Olympic polo shorts. Today they did not disappoint and everyone seems in awe of these distinguised new outfits.

I have to say that the new Olympic apparel looks awesome! (And, I'm jealous!) The Winter Athletes were just interviewed live on the Today Show sporting there Ralph Lauren open/closing ceremonies outfits and the Nike Podium clothing. Very cool stuff! Lisa Baird from the new USOC Marketing office in NYC was interviewed while the athletes modeled.

Sho (above) gets styled by Preston from Ralph Lauren.

Master of Ceremonies, Rowdy Gaines introduces 2010 Olympic Curling Team!

The Flying Aces just performed! They'll be performing again later in the day! AMAZING!
