USA Fencing

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – The USA Fencing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 29 in Room D130 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $20. The ceremony will be preceded by a cash bar reception at 5 p.m. Appetizers will be served at 5:30 p.m.

Hall of Fame inductees are as follows:

• Larry Anastasi  (Swarthmore, Pa.), two-time Olympian
• Cliff Bayer (New York City, N.Y.), two-time Olympian and 1997 Junior World medalist
• Hans Halberstadt (San Francisco, Calif.), coach of Olympians and National Champions
• Buckie Leach (Mt. Sinai, N.Y.), three-time U.S. Olympic Team Coach
• Leonardo Terrone (Philadelphia, Pa.), coach of Olympians and National Champions
• Iris Zimmermann (Pittsford, N.Y.), 2000 Olympian and 2001 World Team Championships bronze medalist
