USA Fencing

The Fencing Officials’ Commission (FOC) is in the process of reorganizing and is seeking candidates for the following leadership positions:  

• FOC Chair
• Vice Chair – Domestic Assignments
• Vice Chair – Domestic Development
• Vice Chair – International Development and Assignments
• Vice Chair – Rules and Exams
• Ombudsman
• Regional Ombudsman (multiple)

The FOC as currently constituated will review the applications and provide comments and a priority ranking.  Donald Anthony, President of USA Fencing, will review the comments and rankings and choose who he wishes to present as nominees to the Board of Directors.  The BOD then accepts or rejects the nominee for each position.  If a nominee is rejected Don Anthony will nominate another person.

After the BOD has approved nominees for all positions, the new group will meet and establish the mission, vision and strategic and operational plan for the new FOC (including a new name) and an annual plan will be established for each chair, all of which will be submitted to the BOD.
