Miles Chamley-Watson, a 2016 Olympic team bronze medalist and four-time Senior World medalist, will enter the Div I men's foil event as the No. 1 seed.
(Colorado Springs, Colo.) – More than 1,800 athletes will travel to Cincinnati to compete from Dec. 14-17 to compete for four days at the December North American Cup, including Olympians, World Champions and athletes ranging in age from 12 to 85.
Athletes will fence in Division I, Division II, Veteran (40+) and Senior Team events at the Duke Energy Convention Center, 525 Elm St.
The third stop on the North American Cup circuit for the 2018-19 season will include both individual and team events in each of fencing’s three disciplines: epee, foil and saber.

For Division I fencers, the December North American Cup is a National Team selection event and will be a chance for athletes to earn valuable national ranking points towards qualification for the 2019 Senior World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The tournament also will see athletes in veteran age groups (40-49, 50-59, 60-69, +70 and +80) competing against each other for the first time following the Veteran World Championships where Team USA won 12 medals in October.
Athletes from 46 states and 10 nations will compete in the tournament, including more than 125 from Ohio, representing 16 clubs.
