USA Fencing and the Veterans Committee warmly invite our esteemed Veteran fencers and supporters to a town hall and reception on April 26 during the April North American Cup in Salt Lake City.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Any time Veteran fencers gather, fun and fellowship is guaranteed.

This year, at the April North American Cup in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Fencing aims to capture this spirit at an open reception and town hall for our Veteran fencers and their supporters. Join us to toast our community, reconnect with old friends, and forge new connections with those who share a passion for fencing.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 26, in Room 257 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Here, participants can enjoy light refreshments and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The program will then shift to a town hall at 6:30 p.m., featuring a presentation by Dan Berke, a respected veteran foil fencer, active member of the Tournament Committee and the creator of Fencing Time Live. Dan will share insights on event scheduling — addressing a topic of keen interest to our community.

Following Dan's presentation, Veterans Committee Chair Valerie Asher and USA Fencing CEO Phil Andrews will host an open forum from 7 p.m. on. This will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to engage in dialogue, ask questions, and share their thoughts on the state of Veteran fencing in the U.S.

We encourage all Veteran fencers and enthusiasts to join us for this special event, as we continue to celebrate and strengthen this vital part of the fencing community.
