As introduced with the 2025-26 season, a fixed regional calendar will be utilized for the first two-year bid cycle. Tournament circuits and dates will be fixed, and organizers will be able to bid on those fixed items accordingly. Based on feedback from organizers, there will be a little bit of flexibility to the fixed calendar this bid cycle. The fixed regional calendar for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons is linked above. For a full list of the 2026-28 bid cycle updates, please refer to the Bid Packet and Tournament Requirement Packet linked above. All bid submissions must be made through the USA Fencing online bid portal. Submissions made after the posted deadline will not be considered.

- Application opens: November 3, 2025
- Application closes: January 11, 2026
No bids will be accepted after January 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST.
Other dates:
- January 12-March 1: Bids are reviewed
- February 23-Mar 1: Organizers can review their internal review scores.
- April 6-10: Bid approvals/denials sent out
Bid Documents
Please note, submission of the hotel worksheet and organizer history worksheet needs be submitted in the format provided below. Simply download the document, fill it out, and upload them in the appropriate section in the bid application. They venue layout and strip management plan documents are just examples. Feel free to put you own spin on them as long as you include all relevant information.
Bid Scoring
After the bid window closes, the Regional Events Manager and the Bid Review Committee will go through and score the bids based on the criteria listed in the Internal Review Form and the Bid Committee Review Form. Each region will be scored by two people from the Review Panel. The average of the two Bid Review Committee Form scores will be added to the score from the Internal Review Form. This total score will be used to award bids by weekend on the fixed calendar.
